Jody pictured here sewing on a drag around quilt for Audrey. The name of the quilt is Annie and the Days of the Month.. We can envision her dragging it around while wearing Granny's high heel shoes clicking alone on the hard wood floors.....as she plays in her own little world.....
We were so thrilled that Diana was able to join us...She used the time to work on her Temar Balls..Diana creates these beauties by wrapping thread around balls she's made...This basket is great diversion for the grandchildren to tinker with while visiting..... they love playing with these...
Kathy's quilt she lovingly made for her Mother..Double Nine Patch...she made in panels so it could be quilted on her sewing machine. Marvelous !!!!
More later...The Ol' Blogger

We are a group of women of different personalities and ages who blend together to make for an interesting and fun group. Our group is dedicated to creating art using various textiles and other mediums. Our interests include sewing, knitting, quilting, doll making, purse making, felting, beading, jewelry making, stained glass, glass blowing, glass fusing, mosaics, and altered books. We share our ideas and our time, to create items that are unusual, traditional and fun. Our fun meter is more important than our gas meter. We fill it at least once a month during our monthly meeting where we have show and tell to show projects we've completed, talk about new projects and share ideas. And the food!! As textile artists we are such lucky people. We find pleasure in simple things; the colors of hand-dyed fabrics, a spool of lustrous thread—we almost hyperventilate when we go through the door of a bead store! How fortunate we are to have passion to create and to achieve such satisfaction in what we do.
