I believe I would be correct in stating, since our children have long since, out grown believing in Santa Clause, we get more of a kick out of Chocolate Night. The expression as gifts are open seem to equal those of children after Santa has come and gone.. Sherry had been a busy little sneaky elf preparing a surprise for her SoTA Sisters..Kathy was first to open hers and we had to remind her not to let the cat out of the bag, as she squealed and clapped her percious hands..
Early in the day, Sherry had hung up the set she made herself as show-n-tell...Cindy had (not knowing she would soon have her own) ask "how much would it cost me to hire you to make a me set?" "$75.00" was Sherry's reply. giggle By the look on her face Cindy is pleased and surprised.. Whew, saved $75.00 :)
Rhona, the little turkey, turned her head to look at Sherry so all I got was the back of her head..Let me tell you she and all of us were thrilled.. Pictured below is the box open..In it was 13 of the little darling Halloween Stocking and our own little tea bag holder... Sherry you did super...Thank you again from all... The Ol'Blogger

Sherry, Thank you for sharing your talents with us...you are truly gifted and have a beautiful giving heart. xoxo K
We are a group of women of different personalities and ages who blend together to make for an interesting and fun group. Our group is dedicated to creating art using various textiles and other mediums. Our interests include sewing, knitting, quilting, doll making, purse making, felting, beading, jewelry making, stained glass, glass blowing, glass fusing, mosaics, and altered books. We share our ideas and our time, to create items that are unusual, traditional and fun. Our fun meter is more important than our gas meter. We fill it at least once a month during our monthly meeting where we have show and tell to show projects we've completed, talk about new projects and share ideas. And the food!! As textile artists we are such lucky people. We find pleasure in simple things; the colors of hand-dyed fabrics, a spool of lustrous thread—we almost hyperventilate when we go through the door of a bead store! How fortunate we are to have passion to create and to achieve such satisfaction in what we do.
