Halloween Ambiance

Halloween trimmings greeted The Stitchin Witches in every nook and cranny for CN...this lovely witch doll was perched on the edge of the counter scrutinizing all the activity's...I believe she is a doll Jody had made years back...Click and enlarge and you will see a special bottle of wine.....don't miss the shoe....The Elders fetish....giggles

The Witches Hat... center piece on our sewing table...

...A black cat stuffed with fat quarters in Halloween colors...was the focal point of another table...
Halloween Wall Hangings...pumpkins, scarecrows all were present...The Elder had created the perfect Halloween Ambiance....

to which we added.. these Stitchin Witches Hat Pin Cushions we had created for Chocolate Night....Hint of things to come....Remember the Forkin Family...they are still multiplying The Ol'Blogger

SoTA Christmas or Chocolate Night.....

Chocolate Night is a lot like Christmas....we prepare all year...making or buying special gifts just for CN....Pictured her is Rhona's pile...Fabric rusted and painted by Kathy, ATC cards designed by each one..... this year theme was buttons...Pearl R for Rhona pic here..... our first name letter from pearls was presented to all from Cindy.... Chocolate lip gloss...etc.......Each of us has our own mound of goodies..

This scrumptious looking cake...already cut into perfect individual pieces...makes the mouth water looking at it...which quickly turns to a smile when receiving a piece...it is a box in the shape of a piece of chocolate cake...( the top is removable for our treasures) made with lots of love by Cindy...No cake can hold a candle to her sweetness... Cont....

Food

Food is always apart of Chocolate Night...Really Food/Fabric is always apart of everything we do....I do believe...
Chocolate Roses every year...also the Chocolate Fountain

the special Witches Shoe Plate (from our own sweet Cindy's home)full of goodies to stick with tooth picks and have a dip....hmmmmm..

We had Chili Sherry made which was delicious and later we were served baked Salmon made by Kathy....Also Kathy treated us (me) to her out of this mouth watering Blueberry/Banana Muffins...More to come....

Chocolate Night Stitchin Witches

Then here is Stitchin Witch Sherry hitching a ride on the shoulders of Casper the Friendly Ghost...We walked to a few of Jody's friends and neighbors who lived close by...what fun... a sight to behold....A man was walking his dog...Not sure what they thought...the man was more discreet than the dog...who kept turning around and checking us out...that dog never once made a sound though....giggles

Stitchin Witches on the Move

On Chocolate Night we all dressed as Stitchin Witches...I just had to get this video on first...oh I hope it works...I will be posting pictures of us all shortly...Sherry won the best costume... her award was our laughter....By the way she is the baby of the group... The Ol' Blogger

Baby Quilts

I haven't left...just so much going on...and my computer has had a bug...after all it is flue season here in Indiana...so yesterday took the computer to be fixed...all is well now...giggles

*I don't have a lot of information on theses baby quilts that Kathy made...but do want to share them...

This is the back of the second one...if you click and enlarge..I hope you will be able to see her quilting...it is beautiful.. She brought these to the Christmas Shoppe the day we delivered Pat's quilt...she would be sending them off before we would be together again...Thanks Kathy for sharing...We love seeing and touching each others creations...

My camera was on the blink also....so I am sorry the first two pic are blurred...but thankfully the one of the back of the quilt still lets the quilting show....I have gotten a new camera....so next time I take pic should be better....The Ol'Blogger
